Mother's Day Bonus - Terms and Conditions

1. Instructions on how to claim form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer, unless otherwise advised. 2. The Promoter is Homedics Australia Pty Ltd(Homedics), A.B.N. 31 103 985 717, 2 -10 Gaine Road, Dandenong South Victoria 3175. 3. Claims are only open to permanent Australian residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of lodging their claim. Employees, directors, management, licensees and contractors of the Promoter, its related companies and agencies associated with the promotion, the immediate families of the above listed persons and the retailers of and suppliers to the Promoter are ineligible to claim. 4. The key dates applying to this promotion (as further explained below in these Terms and Conditions) are:

  • Promotional Period: 7th April 2014 – 11th May 2014
  • Online redemption form: Must be complete by close of business (COB) on 13th June 2014
  • Proof of Purchase showing full payment (Copy Receipt):

Online: Must be submitted with the online redemption form by COB on 13th June 2014 By post: Must be received by the Promoter by COB on 30th June 2014.

No responsibility is accepted for lost, late or misdirected claims.

5. Purchase any Homedics products to the value of $150 in one transaction from any participating retailer in Australia during the promotional period and, after correctly completing the online redemption form and provided your claim meets all terms & conditions, the claimant will receive a bonus Gym Essentials kit or Kitchen Essentials Kit valued at $49.95. 6. After registering for the promotion online, provision of a copy of proof of purchase is mandatory and can be supplied in one (1) of the following ways:

a. Scan/photograph and upload to online redemption form (note must be legible) or

b. Photocopy and mark with your full name, contact number, serial number and unique code and post to: Homedics Australia Pty Ltd 2-10 Gaine Road Dandenong South 3175.

7. Please note if you choose to mail your proof of purchase it must be received by Homedics at the above address by close of business 30th June 2014. After this date the promotion will be closed and no claims will be accepted. Homedics accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail. 8. If the product is on backorder during the Promotional Period, online registration and provision of proof of purchase is still mandatory and must be complete by 13th June 2014. Please follow the steps detailed below:

a. Register for the Homedics redemption online at http://www.homedics.com.au/promotions by close of business 13th June 2014. Upload or post a copy of your receipt indicating full payment on a qualifying product during the promotional period (7th April – 11th May 2014).

b. By Post

i. Make a copy of your receipt. This receipt must show that a qualifying product was paid in full between 7th April 2014 – 11th May 2014.

ii. On this copy write: 1. Your full name

2. Contact number 3. Serial number

c. Post it to us at: Homedics Australia Pty Ltd 2-10 Gaine Road Dandenong South 3175.

9. With the exception of backorders, products are to be paid for in full during the Promotional Period. Laybys will not be accepted unless paid in full within the Promotional Period. Products purchased on finance plans and rental agreements are eligible for this promotion. Claimants must agree to having read the Terms and Conditions on the online redemption form and must complete all required fields.

10. Once your claim has been received and validated by Homedics please allow 30 days for the delivery of your bonus. 11. All claims are subject to verification by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims (including contacting the place of purchase) and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 12. The claimant agrees that if they have received the bonus but then return the qualifying Homedics product (under any returns policy), they will also return the bonus product to the Promoter, or reimburse the Promoter for the cost of the bonus. 13. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible claims will be deemed invalid. 14. Only one claim is permitted per transaction; multiple purchases must be itemised on separate receipts and; (b) each redemption must be submitted in accordance with redemption requirements. 15. Claimants must retain a copy of the original purchase receipt for all claims as Proof of Purchase. Failure to produce the Proof of Purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to an offer. Claims will also be invalid if: (a.) Proof of Purchase details fail to match. (b.) Qualifying purchase has not been paid in full. (c.) Proof of Purchase does not indicate the model number of product purchased. 16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Subject to the regulatory requirements in each State or Territory, the Promoter may at its discretion vary these Terms and Conditions or any of the terms of entry applying to this promotion or to modify, terminate, suspend or reschedule this promotion without notice but subject to State and Territory legislation. 17. It is the responsibility of the claimant to provide the correct details for the bonus. Homedics accept no responsibility for lost or misdirected mail. Bonus will be delivered by Australia Post and must be signed for by the relevant householder/occupier. Any damages to deliveries must be notified to Homedics. No unauthorised delivery instructions can be accepted and any special delivery instructions made would waive all liability for subsequent loss or damage. 18. The bonus is not exchangeable or transferable for cash. 19. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Claimant’s understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and/or agencies acting on its behalf and not to Facebook. 20. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an claimant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that claimant invalid. If for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries. 21. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, unless otherwise advised. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and its Employees, directors, management, its related companies and agents associated with the promotion and Facebook excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any redemption claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in the redemption value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of a bonus. 22. All personal information submitted by any claimant for the purposes of the promotion will be governed in accordance with the Privacy Statement of the Promoter. Please refer to the Privacy Statement for a full description of the Privacy Policy of the Promoter. 23. This promotion is not applicable to trade (commercial) or wholesale suppliers, this includes but is not limited to purchases made from suppliers that do not generally sell direct to the public.
